What Is Candy Shorts? A Plain Guide to Candy AI's Series

By Steven Last updated

Candy Shorts is the series section of Candy.ai: scripted adult stories told in vertical AI episodes of about a minute or two. As of October 2026 our catalog tracks 156 series. Most run five episodes, the first two usually play free, and later ones cost tokens.

Candy Shorts sits inside Candy.ai, the adult AI companion platform, but it works differently from the rest of the site. Instead of typing to a character, you press play and follow a written story. This guide covers the format, the catalog layout, what is free, who is on screen and what the so-called app really is.

Watching instead of chatting

Most of Candy.ai revolves around conversations with generated characters. The Shorts section flips that around. Each series has a script, a fixed cast and a plot that has already been decided, so nothing you do changes what happens next.

Candy.ai's help pages describe every scene as pre-written, moving from a setup through a twist to an ending. Playing an episode also leaves your existing chats untouched. If you want a say in the story, the chat side is the place for it.

Teasers that turn up on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube are trimmed promos. Candy.ai runs official accounts under the handle trycandyai there and also on X and Facebook, but the full episodes only play on Candy.ai itself.

Episode length, series length and the player

Episodes are short on purpose. Most last around a minute, and the free ones wrap up their dialogue before the two-minute mark. That leaves room for an introduction, a complication and a closing hook.

Series length varies far more. As of October 2026, 139 of the 156 series in our catalog have five episodes, so most stories fit into one short sitting. Some go much longer: My bestie betrayed me has 34 episodes, YES MA'AM has 27, and Caught Between Sisters is one of three titles with 15.

The player uses a fixed 9:16 frame, the shape of a phone held upright. On a desktop that means a tall, narrow window, while on a phone the video fills most of the screen. Picture-in-picture is switched off, and subtitle tracks only appear once you are signed in, so log in before watching with the sound off.

How the catalog is organized

Series are grouped on three shelves. Candy characters and Other characters hold the invented casts, while Candy Creators gathers the titles built on licensed digital twins of adult creators, 21 of the 156 as of October 2026.

Filters sit above the grid: All series, New and Spicy come first, followed by story tags such as Fantasy, Taboo, Teacher, Stepmom and Maid. By default the newest titles show first, and New or New Episodes badges flag recent additions. There is no fixed release calendar.

The Spicy badge matters most. It marks series that are explicit from episode 1 and need Premium from the start, 15 of them in our catalog as of October 2026. A featured carousel also runs across the top, but it reads as an editorial pick rather than a popularity chart, which is one reason our series hub rates and sorts every title itself.

What is free and what costs tokens

Sign up for free and the opening two episodes of every regular series cost nothing; Simona Rossi: Wrong But Right even includes a third. After that, each episode is unlocked with tokens. Most series charge 12 tokens per paid episode, while creator and Spicy titles charge 30 or 50.

In practice, finishing a standard five-episode series priced at 12 tokens takes 36 tokens. Spicy series follow their own rule: a free account cannot open them at all, and with Premium the first two cost nothing in tokens. Our free episodes guide walks through the no-cost route.

Is everything AI-generated?

Yes. The scenes, sets and faces are generated, and all characters are invented adults. Cast lists name characters rather than actresses, so nothing you watch is a recording of a real person.

The Candy Creators shelf adds one twist. Those series use the licensed digital twin of a known creator, such as Bonnie Blue in Student Bodies. The twin supplies a name and a likeness, but the creator did not perform in the episodes. How explicit the paid episodes get is covered in our heat rating guide.

The chat button and the app question

Many episodes close by inviting you to message the main character, and some suggest designing a character of your own instead. That chat is optional and kept apart from watching. Free accounts get only a few messages, while Premium lists unlimited text messages.

There is no Candy Shorts app to download. Candy.ai's Get App prompt simply shows you how to pin the site to your home screen: Share and then Add to Home Screen on iPhone, or the same option in the browser menu on Android. Any APK or installer offered elsewhere does not come from Candy.ai. For phone setup, see our guide to watching Candy AI videos.

Candy Shorts suits adults who enjoy a plot that stops on a hook. It is a poor fit if you want to steer the story or would rather avoid adult content. The two free episodes of any regular series are the cheapest way to decide.

Questions readers send us

Is Candy Shorts a separate app or website?

No. It is one part of Candy.ai, and the only app is the website saved as an icon on your phone. Episodes play in Candy.ai's own vertical player.

How many episodes does a typical series have?

Five, in the large majority of cases. A handful of titles run 10, 15 or even 34 episodes, and each episode lasts roughly a minute or two.

Can I watch without paying?

Partly. Regular series let a free account watch their first two episodes, while later episodes cost tokens and Spicy series need Premium from episode 1.

Are real performers involved?

No. Everyone on screen is generated, and creator titles use licensed digital twins of creators who did not perform in them. Our creators hub shows which twin appears in which series.

Do I have to chat with a character to watch?

No. Watching and chatting are separate features, and the chat offer at the end of an episode is optional.
