A friend recommends a series and mentions that the opening episodes are free. That is true, but free on Candy.ai has clear edges, and it helps to know where they are before you sign up.
What a free account unlocks
You need a free Candy.ai account, and the age gate requires you to state that you are an adult. After that, the Candy Shorts section opens up. As of October 2026, 141 of the 156 series in our catalog do not carry the Spicy label, and every one of them lets a free account play episodes 1 and 2 without spending a token.
One title is more generous: Simona Rossi: Wrong But Right hands out three episodes before its first lock. Every other non-Spicy series stops after two.
Free episodes are short, usually between one and two minutes each, so a free pair adds up to a few minutes of story. That is enough to meet the characters, learn what each of them wants and reach the moment where things start to go wrong.
Watching without paying, step by step
The whole route takes a few minutes and costs zero tokens:
- Open Candy.ai and pass the adults-only age check.
- Register a free account.
- Open the Candy Shorts section and choose any title without the Spicy label. Filters above the grid narrow the list by trope.
- Play episodes 1 and 2, or episodes 1 to 3 in Simona Rossi: Wrong But Right.
- Stop when the next episode displays a padlock and a price in tokens, unless you decide to pay.
At no point do you need the chat. The Shorts run separately from it, and your chat history stays exactly as it was.
What the free episodes show
In non-Spicy series, the free episodes show neither nudity nor sex scenes. The dialogue can still be blunt and suggestive, so headphones are a good idea on a bus or at work. What the opening pair delivers is setup: a new arrival, a rule about to be broken, and a closing line that makes episode 3 hard to resist.
The explicit material arrives later, in the paid episodes that usually begin at episode 3. Every series on this site carries a heat rating from 1 (Teasing) to 5 (Max), so you can check how far a story goes before you commit. For more detail on explicitness, see our nudity guide.
Why Spicy series are closed from episode 1
A free account cannot open the 15 Spicy series in our catalog, even at episode 1. With Premium, that lock disappears, and the opening two episodes then cost zero tokens. These titles move into adult scenes right away, so they have no tame opening to give away.
If a series refuses to play on a free account, the Spicy label is the reason. Examples include Accident with my Stepmom and Professor Mia, a creator series built around the digital twin of Mia Malkova.
The chat has its own free limit
Candy.ai has two halves: the Shorts you watch and the chat where you talk with AI characters. Free users can send 5 chat messages; for unlimited text messages, you need Premium. What tokens buy after the free part
From episode 3, each episode costs tokens: 12 in most series, and 30 or 50 in creator and Spicy titles. The lock shows the price before you spend anything. Tokens come with Premium, which adds more besides: the Full Live Action Experience, AI girlfriend creation, adult image and video generation and unlimited text messages.
